Terms of Service

Petbiz (petbiz.my) is a software platform for pet businesses — bookings, customer management, invoicing, reminders and related tools — operated from Malaysia ("Petbiz", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, including actions taken by staff members you invite. You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business you register.

Petbiz is a paid subscription: RM99 per month or RM999 per year, billed through Stripe, our payment processor. Your subscription renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Except where required by law, payments are not refunded for partial billing periods. If a renewal payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is settled.

Use Petbiz only for lawful business purposes. You must not: send spam or messages recipients have not consented to; upload malicious code or attempt to breach or overload the service; misuse another business's data; or resell the service without our agreement. We may suspend accounts that put the platform or other tenants at risk.

You retain ownership of the data you and your customers enter into Petbiz — business records, customer contact details, pet profiles, bookings and invoices. You grant us the rights needed to store and process that data solely to provide the service. You are responsible for having a lawful basis (including under the Malaysian Personal Data Protection Act 2010) to enter your customers' personal data into the platform. How we handle personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

We rely on trusted processors to run Petbiz: Stripe (payments), Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database and file storage), Vercel (hosting and infrastructure), and Anthropic / MiniMax (optional AI features, such as reading your price list from a photo). Each processes data only as needed to deliver their part of the service.

We work to keep Petbiz reliable, but the service is provided "as is" and we cannot promise uninterrupted availability. We may improve, change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces the service you pay for, we will give reasonable notice.

Petbiz, its software, design and branding belong to us. These terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you, and your data does not become ours.

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the subscription fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control.

You may stop using Petbiz and cancel your subscription at any time. We may terminate or suspend accounts that breach these terms. After termination we will make your data available for export for a reasonable period before deleting it in line with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
